Hanover Penthouse, Dublin

At Hanover Penthouse in Dublin, Realm uses Arcaico in Green across a vanity wall and curved shower enclosure. The narrow ceramic format gives both surfaces a consistent vertical rhythm while accommodating two very different geometries.

One Tile, Two Geometries

At the vanity, Arcaico forms a precise rectangular field behind the basin and circular mirror. In the shower, the same narrow tile follows a curved wall, allowing the surface to turn continuously without losing its vertical structure.

The contrast shows the value of a small-format ceramic module: it can establish order on a flat elevation while remaining responsive to architectural curvature.

Glaze, Light and Detail

The green glaze sits between pale joinery, white fittings and dark floor tiles. Small changes in tone and reflection remain visible across the installation, particularly where daylight and shower lighting move over the curved wall.

Timber rails and black brackets introduce a measured horizontal counterpoint to the tile’s vertical line. These fittings are placed directly against the ceramic surface, making their junctions part of the overall composition.
