Model Six Installations

Model Six appears across a varied collection of hospitality, retail, workplace and residential interiors in Japan. Its faceted geometry turns repeated ceramic units into surfaces that change markedly with colour, light and viewing distance.

Antique Gold in Hospitality and Retail

Antique Gold is used behind display shelving and restaurant counters, where warm lighting intensifies the tile’s relief. Each projecting face catches light differently, creating a surface that appears almost woven from a distance.

White in Brighter Interiors

White installations show the geometry more quietly. Across dining rooms, reception areas, museums and kitchen splashbacks, shadow rather than colour defines the repeated pattern.

At Sekisui Heim Museum and in hotel reception settings, concealed and directional lighting makes the faceted wall legible while maintaining an overall pale and restrained atmosphere.

Metallic Silvery Black

The darker finish produces a more reflective architectural field. Used behind basins and within workplace interiors, the surface shifts between charcoal, bronze and silver according to the direction of light.

Scale and Repetition

Model Six can operate as a small detail or across an entire wall. The repeated unit remains recognisable at close range, while larger installations combine into a continuous geometric surface whose character changes as people move through the room.
