Specifier Program

The Mittsu Specifier Program is for architects, interior designers and professional buyers specifying Japanese tiles for interior and architectural projects.

The program provides access to samples, trade pricing, technical resources and direct specialist support throughout the specification process.

What members receive

Samples are supplied as full tiles or representative sections of tile sheets, allowing colour, glaze, texture and surface variation to be evaluated before specification.

Designed for real specification work

Japanese tiles are defined by material depth, surface variation and kiln-formed glaze character.

Samples allow these qualities to be reviewed under real lighting conditions, helping architects and designers make informed decisions before committing to a finish.

Early discussion of budget, availability and lead time helps ensure the selected tile remains viable through specification, procurement and delivery.

Why specification matters

Authentic Japanese tiles cannot be replicated by printed or mass-produced alternatives.

Substituting another tile during procurement will usually create a different visual and material outcome, and may compromise the original design intent.

How samples work

Complimentary samples are activated automatically when ordering through the website using the same email address registered in the program.

Samples are ordered exclusively through the website using the sample links on each product page.

Please order only what you need for live or developing projects, as some Japanese tile samples are limited and expensive to produce.
