Robeson Architects Bathroom - Mittsu - Japanese Tiles
Project

Robeson Architects Bathroom

Robeson Architects uses Yuki Border Terracotta to shape a bathroom of unusual warmth and atmosphere. The rich glaze sits naturally within the dark palette, revealing coppery highlights as light moves across the narrow tile faces.

The repeated vertical format adds order and scale, while the fired surface retains the variation that gives Japanese ceramics their material presence.
