Cecil Street
At Cecil Street, Kaji Border in Powder White is used across a curved kitchen island and two bathroom interiors. The same narrow Japanese porcelain tile moves between open living space and compact wet areas, giving the home a consistent material rhythm.

Following the Curve
The kitchen island forms the centre of the open living space. Kaji Border is installed vertically around its long front and rounded end, allowing the small-format tile to follow the geometry without interrupting the surface.
Powder White sits quietly alongside pale cabinetry, light timber flooring and stone worktops. The visible joint pattern gives the island definition while the restrained colour keeps it integrated with the room.
One Material Across the Home
In the bathrooms, the same tile is carried across shower walls, recessed ledges and basin areas. Its narrow proportion resolves corners and changes of depth with a clear, repeated structure.
The lightly textured glaze and small tonal markings become more apparent at close range. Black fittings sharpen the contrast, while warm metal hooks and textiles introduce softer points of colour.
Light Across Powder White
Daylight moves distinctly across the vertical surface. In direct light the glaze appears crisp and pale; in shadow the joints and fine relief become more pronounced. This changing reading gives the bathrooms depth without introducing a separate decorative pattern.
